Using the high terrain of the wasteland to provide visitors with a good view, the small platform drops down along the height of the steps, while guiding pedestrians to walk, it also forms an Angle with the tea room, forming an open vision space for pedestrians

story telling

Image
Our site is a continuously abandoned farmland, which was cultivated by farmers on a temporary basis before being demolished The traditional farming method of reasonable symbiosis with nature in China is gradually being ignored by people, and the government begins to treat farmland as an indicator rather than a bottom line for survival. Therefore, we found that farmland here is gradually being abandoned in the interview People need to pay new attention to the role of agriculture in human culture, and to examine agricultural culture is to examine the relationship between man and nature in the historical development. By reunderstanding agricultural culture, people can understand their place in nature and establish a more effective and beneficial way of living with nature. We designed this project to bring people back to the farmland, and through the design of the teahouse, to build a bridge that will bring the people of the city back to the farmland

We learned how to use plan and section to represent the environment around the site, and to reflect the connection between the design and the site, and how it has a relationship with the site

New Bonsai

The potted plant reflects the concept of the site. On the one hand, the moss growing part is used to form the slope topography of the outside and the inside. The kraft paper is used as the steps, reflecting the stepped layout in the design, reflecting the concept of the building parasitic on the slope. At the same time, two wooden blocks are used to form the bottom plate, reflecting the height gap between wasteland and farmland in the original site, reflecting the problem we need to solve

New diagram: learning from site historical change

Image
This project describes the proportion of site elements and the trend and direction of change at three different time points and the speculated change trend. Each time point has a small icon to illustrate this time point. The event that occurred, and its corresponding Y-axis illustrates the publicity of the venue at this point in time. Through the study of this diagram, I can clearly express the functional changes of the site in recent years, leading to the theme of hoping that people will pay new attention and return to farmland
