midterm feedback

Professor's opinion: Question 1: Accurately define parasitism and symbiosis (logically) and avoid using negative judgments (you can try to list the first image and summarize their common characteristics) Question 2: How do parasitism and symbiosis affect the site? Specifically list the effects on terrain and plant types. Question 3: (pre) Clarify the connection between the theme and the production project. It is meaningless to simply list the projects and experiences that have been produced. You can try to state the overall theme first. Question 4: Farmland areas have different forms (pergolas, etc.). Try to present them in a variety of ways instead of simply generalizing. personal feedback During this midterm review, the guest's suggestion was that we should not only draw charts according to the requirements, but also apply all the surveys and drawn content to the topic we are investigating. At the same time, we should clarify the definition of the topic before the speech (s...

Group work survey and concept module

Due to the redefinition of the concept of the site, I changed the legend of the 1:5000 map in this group assignment. The fundamental reason for the complex relationship between plants and human traces on the site is that it is located at the junction of agricultural areas, human settlements, and green areas. Therefore, I attempted to classify the area around the site as agricultural. The greening function and the three basic functions of the urban area reflect the unique nature of the site. The rest of this large map is aimed at changing the concept of the site, serving as a background for introducing the site's complex parasitic and symbiotic relationships. 1:5000 MAP In the conceptual model, the original bonsai has been modified to simulate the site's terrain changes and plants' growth during the production of the original bonsai. In this conceptual model, artificial facilities were added to the site to simulate the ideal symbiotic scene during on-site research feedback. ...

Site concept and feedback

Introduction      When discussing the site model, I defined the site as two keywords: parasitism and symbiosis. On the one hand, parasitism and symbiosis can effectively summarize the relationship between human traces and changing areas in the site. On the other hand, as a gradually abandoned and changed agricultural area, our site follows the principle of the relationship between artificial facilities and plants. We plan to explore parasitism as a unilateral relationship and symbiosis with mutual benefit to find the relationship between plants and humans in this area.      In this survey, we asked participants to look for examples that they believe are unidirectional and mutually beneficial to help us understand the reasonable form of architectural and landscape installations on the site and thus provide a reference for future design. In this group work, my main activity was to propose concepts and general frameworks and determine the form of discussion. S...

Picnic site inspection and model making

Image
The picnics we chose were located in the wetland near the river. The location was on the edge of the fields cultivated by farmers, where we could see apparent changes in plant species and the different levels of plant height achieved with varying levels of variety and topography. This kind of plant species and altitude change is exciting in visual effect. The direction I'm looking at is to influence between these different regional variations.  The location we chose was surrounded by urban buildings on all sides, starting from the site of the road, the topography from high to the lowest point on the bank, the plants growing at the most extreme climb to the road, and the walls on both sides grew high, And most of them are grown in the wild, not by people. Still, they are also influenced by human architecture. In their bodies, we can see changes in the growth of plants in the facilities made by humans, and they change because of the topography created by humans. At the same time, the...
